Man this version rocked! Blame Chris Hecker for making the game more 'cutesy' and taking all the science away! Damn EA....they had to completely redo the game after that, and now we got a really dumbed down version.

I would pay for this version of the game as some kind of "Spore: Scientific Version" for another $45 and a $15 a month subscription if they allow it to be just this. Not dumbed down like the abomination it is now. I'm so sad that sales to stupid people ruined this game.

aaargh. stop friggin whinning. its the same f***en game. retail has just different UI. cartoony bubbles etc. but it has same friggin functionality. all past videos show game as we got it today. nothing more complex. its just mambo-jumbo talk. it was simple from the beggining. wake up.

Game isn't that bad just i expected something more. Stages are to short i was in space stage after 4 hours.

They didn't take out ALL of the good stuff, just a pretty damn good amount of it...):
like they kept it transforming, which i love to do XD
But they got rid of stuff like: being able to leave your space ship, dropping animals on planets and them exploding, the fact that lower life forms could worship you...and so on ):
