but you seemed so shocked scientology asks you to pay for the services. where does a church building of any religion come from? money pays for them. where does this come from? in the end, it's members.

the expensive way comes through the professional auditing where it's personalized instead of twinned up auditing back and forth.
not only this, but there are huge campaigns spreading the tech. all libraries in the world have almost been filled, churches worldwide, etc.
but yes, materials don't sprout out of no where, they cost money.
getting rid of your reactive mind is pretty damn cool if you ask me.
obviously you have other opinions, and i respect those, but that's why i have no problem knowingly paying money, it's not as though i'm being brainwashed into doing so.
if you don't think i was just as skeptical as you when i first went into the church you're wrong. i was, but things changed with how i viewed things. and that's that story.
do i argue why they pass the plate around your church? no.
i was a christian for 14 years, i know the plate is passed around. i've "grasped the facts" as you put. because unlike you, i've been in both for several years. do you think i don't know the differences between our churches? i do.
