Actually, the Bible says that God put his mark on Cain to protect him from other people who would seek to slay him for his crime of fratricide (look it up). The LDS believe that a modern prophet interpreted the mark to mean darkened skin.

Where do I get that Idea? Try Genesis Chapter 4, verse 15 "And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him." (kjv)
And yes, Cain was the one who followed Satan's ways like murdering his brother Abel.

You can get help from the Mormon church if you promise to give some help in return. The church does not believe in giving something for nothing. As for feeding the missionaries, your wife probably wants them in your house once in a while to see if they can teach YOU a little something, like... oh I don't know... maybe some morals? Try expressing yourself with a little more sophistication. It will help people take you more seriously.
