| I was thinking how incredibly epic that battle would be to live through. Have the player fight as part of an army, be spiritually moved by the rage of humanity, and feel the utter terror of the Machines advance. Goes from Epic strategy to survival horror. Space invaders is the only game I can think of where a player does not have a "VICTORY!!!" ending to reach, I think It could add something to the gaming world. |

| RPG elements are iffy. I was thinking the game would train you up from moving and shooting up to brigade-level command. Then the battle begins. As your forces are killed off, the game zooms in on the main character until it's just you fighting to survive. The longer you last, the more content, such as new weapons and characters, become unlocked. The longer the player holds the machines off, the more survivors will be left underground, a kind of score. |
