I remember seeing them perform this on the The Merv Griffin Show. Now that was pretty interesting to see Mark Mothersbaugh in a dog chain, on an afternoon TV show. LOL!
This album was HUGE in the summer of 1980. Velcro wallets, Vans checkered custom shoes that you had to order and then wait 2 weeks for them to arrive, Lightning Bolt & Rags pants, OP corduroy shorts & terricloth polos, etc...

Good tune. The music is catchy, the lyrics are smart and I've always realy liked Mark Mothersboroughs weird funny voice alot, particularly on this song. It's just what a good Devo song aughta be, smart, catchy, quirky and distinctive.

Those alien disguises are also very strange and cool. These guys seemd to have a diferent image every time they apeard. They've been aliens, cowboys, clones, chiorboys, robots, acountants, lab scientists, ancient Romans, human potatoes, nuclear plant workers, had the yellow suits and visors look, the famous red hats and God knows what els! And they say that Bowie and madona have many diferent personas!

25 years ago i was 17 and my friend made me discover DEVO.
WHAT A SHOCK !
In 1990/1991 they came in Paris for a show ("la cigale" if i remember the place correctly), it was sad.
The guys were old and their style doesn't match with oldness.
But in the late 70's i saw them like pure genius and i will love them for ever

Awesome group Devo was in the late 70's into the 80's just because they were a 'unique' band with a cult following, freedom of choice was probably a big hit almost as popular as whip it.
