Here I am in my back yard cutting up a few dandelions with a 10 ft David Morgan bullwhip.
I saw "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" in theaters when I was 9 years old. Ever since seeing that movie I've been fascinated with whips. Of course, I saw Indiana Jones and I wanted a whip, a lot of women out there see Indiana Jones and want Harrison Ford. (This joke worked great before the new movie came out, but I'm sure a lot of women still like the older Harrison.)

hey adam what is the difference between a not too expensive bullwhip and the david morgan whips? i know they are almost a thousand dollars but besides the high price how is the quality of them? also do you do renassiance fairs around new jersey? i know of one in tuxedo, new york and never go to them. but if you are going to be there performing i'm definitely ordering tickets

A David Morgan whip is a high-quality kangaroo bullwhip, and is way better than any cheap whip out there. It will last you a long time. You can also get less expensive kangaroo whips from makers such as Joe Strain or Paul Nolan, both good whip makers. Currently I don't have any gigs on the east coast.

An okay video. Not as good as your others but still not bad. Yoou really are good with a whip to be able to his such thin targets so well. Keep working on your videos and bringing out some really good ones.

Hello Adam, catching and grabbing objects with a whip is amazing for me. Could you make a more detailed introduction to it?
E.g. how did the whip grab the target? How does it look like?
Is it possible to grab round pipes as well? Is it possible to grab something with longer whips, or we should try with shorter ones?
Could you also explain the right movement for grabbing object a little bit more detailed?

The wrap and grab just happened to work well with this target stand and this particular whip. It helped that the wood of the stand was a little rough as it helped the leather grab into it.

what are you using for targets? i'm putting together a short whip show inbetween our music, and i was wondering what i could use as targets that will break when i hit them behind my back, ontop of my head, etc... and of course, when someone holds the target from a distance.

woah whered you get enough money to afford a ten ft david morgan?i bought my whip from an indiana jones shop online which is leather on the outside but in some parts it has rope on the inside(but it still works great)and during fay a lot of sticks fell down so we put them in a box and i like to grab them with my whip
