Good point, but there's a flip side. A good 300-yard drive is extremely satisfying, but only if it lands in the CORRECT fairway, which is usually my problem. 100+ yard disc drives are not quite as majestic, but they don't tend to wander off as far. :)

What makes disc so great IMO is that it is much more accessible than ball golf. All you need to play is 1 disc that costs less than $10, and courses are typically free to play. A round of disc golf is a lot shorter than ball golf as well, since the distances of holes are typically 1/2 to 1/3 as long. That means less walking and more playing!

You know, I've been playing since May, and I still haven't figured out how to throw a disc worth a crap.
I can't get it to launch like these guys...I'm getting pissed. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong and/or why the disc won't fly for me.
