Moscow calls on Serbia and Kosovo to hold direct talks

Russia is urging Belgrade and Pristina to have direct negotiations and has promised support for any solution acceptable to Serbia. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made the statement at a news conference following talks in Moscow with his Serbian counterpart, Vuk Jeremic.

russia was there to support each and every scumbag serb leader to appear at the fall of communist yugoslavia... up to and including milosovic who even the serbs finally called a dictator when he had no else left to weild power over but the serbs themselves.
Russia is DESPERATE for at least 1 State that has a foothold into Europe... NO MATTER WHAT kind of shit state it is, no matter the damage done to ALL of the balkans including the serbs themselves.

Yugoslavia joined the UN as an original member in 1945...
the new Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, was formed on 1992... a feeble attempt by serbia to claim inheritance over what was the former yugolsavia. the UN REFUSED to consider this new serb controlled joke of a state as the successor >cont.

that jokeslavia went on to rename TO Serbia and Montenegro...and later ..it finally became officially The Repbulic of serbia ...
it is fantasy on serbs and russias part to think there is any reason in the world for kosovars to take any claim by serbia seriously.
THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA TODAY IS IS YOUNGER THAN THE PAPER 1244 IS WRITTEN ON.
You maybe never read the Constitution of Serbia-and-Montenegro (just before Montenegro became independence...)

Serbia & Montenegro became 2 independent states in 2006.
But, you should go on UN site to see what you're saying is wrong.
The UN 1244 Resolution can be applied to Serbia. And as the General Secretary said: 'the Resolution 1244 is still active'.
look at govt. of the now republic of Serbia. and look at the representation kosova had within what WAS the federal Republic of yugo.
The Reality is..it is IMPOSSIBLE to restore or undoe What Milosovic Did to kosovo within yugoslavia.... yugo is DEFUNCT.
so whatis being spewed when the term "talks" come up? oh well, yeah slobo was a dictator, what he did was messed up..but yeah, lets go ahead and forget all that and continue build on what HE created.

when "you" and russia and serbia speak of talks...you are not speaking of a solution... Yugoslavia is DEAD.
That is the dirty little truth serbs and co. NEVER touch. erase ALL that came before, and magically accept EVERYTHING slobo did as canon, and work within THAT framework.

Is the idea of specifically EXCLUDING any right for kosovars to vote in the countries legislative branch...effectively placing it as a colony.... your idea of comprise?

But thats ok, Kosova is already independant... and dont worry, Theyve given serbs plenty of representation in its legistative branch... you know, the same things serbia DIDNT want to talk about.
