Back in the day I used an Ensoniq.
That was LONG ago though, but I'll bet you can get one on Ebay CHEAP now.
Instead, u might wanna get a controller and just use the MPC as your sampler.
Midi out from an MPK to the midi in on the MPC.
Now only if Akai made a sampling keyboard....

this is one of the best vids wid the 500 its basicly tellin all the people that hate on the 500 because its small and dosnt have the chopping capabilitys dosnt mean the beats commin from it is gone be shh cuz u did basicly the same beat on the 500 that you did on the 2500

Good way to educate, man. It doesn't matter the equipment as long as you freak it right! Cheap MPC or more expensive - they both sound the same pretty much!!! Nice vid!
