For all the beginners out there..Barre chords are %99 easier to do when the quality of your guitar is better.Trust me.Ive been playing on a cheap acoustic worth $40 and it took me weeks to master...i still dub the strings accidentally.Recently started playing on a electric,fender, deluxe stratocaster and i dont even have to press down hard on the barre.Just touch the strings lol.Practice on a bad guitar tho...then when you get alot better guitar you will appreciat and find it alot easier.

for all the beginners out there learning guitar dont get too frustrated if it takes a long time to learn bar chords. it takes the average guitar player 2 months to master it. if it takes u less than a week you know you have potential. which is a cool way to tell if your the next angus young.

I dunno if I'm doing something wrong but when I try a bar chord my finger doesn't push down the B string properly...all the others are fine though

its harder to do bar chords with an acoustic than an electric...
electric guitar = less strength

thx a lot. i dont have a guitar yet though lol. it was frustating to do bar chords in my school....band. but 1 day i got it not 100% good but enough to play something radical. i need a little more practice. i did now like 90 95% pf what you said but i really apreciate it. this was my first vid i saw about you i think.....anyway thx a lot

This is a good lesson but he doesen't explain the way you put the barre on! You must not bar with the interior side of the finger, i don't know how to call it, you have to bar with the side of your finger! It took me like 1 month and some weeks to play barre chords!
