First of all, I'm a huge fan of MAB and listen to his music, so I'm not bashing him. He's awesome on guitar. However, I do personally feel that it seems and looks a little tacky when MAB just breaks into a wild shred at 3:13 to 3:16. Plus, the 'display' of the over-under technique at around 5:00 is honestly just really out of place. It's more of a "Look what I can do!" thing. Not many can do that, true. But it has it's place - on MAB's stage. Not somebody else's along with an acoustic song.

This song really isn't a 'shred' type song. It sounds a lot better with acoustic and just typical electric playing. For instance, MAB did an awesome job with the solo part at 4:36 to 4:45. Keeping in rhythm with the music, but then breaking out into more wild and unrelated solos. I know he's good at them, but honestly even as one of his fans...that's not the place or the time. I still like his music, of course...but this particular song is a bit out of place for MAB.

Actually, one more comment. Check out the video called "Jim Peterik - Eye Of The Tiger" that is on the user valeriemmm 's profile.
This is that same Jim Peterik. Pretty much shredding, playing guitar behind his head, etc. An electric guitar. So yes, I guess since these are his fans in the audience who know him; they should be familiar with the shred style that he also seems to do. But watch the guy and lady in the audience at 5:10. It's like they are making fun of MAB. Peterik shreds, too.

Ok, the song is titled 'Gotta Run' and is from the band Holland. It was on the "Little Monsters' LP released by Atlantic records. C4 was a project that Michael did in the late 90's that covered Holland songs. Do a youtube search for "Holland 1985 Gotta Run" to see original video footage.
