Look, I love the Furs & have been a fan of theirs ever since I was a kid in the 80's, but there is no need for to generalize or put down a whole group of people with a disparaging remark. My mother is Mexican and my Father is 1/2 English and 1/2 Italian descent. Even though I know very little Italian, I am extremely fluent in Spanish and study Mandarin. Most of my friends happen to be of Mexican descent, but I guarantee you they're not your stereotyped notion of what you think a Spick is.

As a matter of fact, even though I don't consider myself to look white by any means, I have been told in the past that I look Italian, Jewish or even Arab. My good friends who are mostly of Mexican descent look whiter than me. As a matter of fact, my friend David could easily pass for an Italian, he owns guns, is in the Army Reserves and sports a Rockabilly style. His brother Ruben is heavier set, likes Rock music albeit different and could probably also pass for an Italian.

I appreciate the note,and yes,I am better off w/o her.Still hard to shake off the memory machine though.Worst of it was,she TOTALLY blindsided me,and left me on CHRISTMAS EVE for crying out loud.Presents under the tree,guests invited,she says,"I'm not happy,might have found a FRIEND that helps at work to get her through,And don't buy me any presents either,I did'nt get you anything".Nice huh? Sounds pretty brutal. It'll take a while to totally separate yourself emotionally from something that horrific. Christmas Eve IS supposed to be a special time to spend with family and friends.
