So please save me the morality of the glorious USA, through out history you have shown your worth and your intentions. So rather than being a jerk with "Serbs wouldn't understand", ask yourself how much do you really know about the subjects you are preaching about? Firstly, there is NO difference in defeating an army by sheer numbers, tactical manouver, or subterfuge. The end result is the same. Secondly, the anschluss of Austria, re-occupation of the Rhineland, and the invasion of the Sudetenland and Czechoslovakia,(all pre1939)could hardly have tired the Germans. Thirdly, the Germans did not HAVE to invade Russia as you stated. Mussolini did not turn traitor, but the Italian people deposed him and were occupied by the Germans. These are the facts.

The Soviets were not the aggressors, and they absolutely stomped on the Germans. Anyone who has a apologetic fascination with, or love for the Nazis is emotionally immature and mentally disturbed. Granted, they had masterful generals like Rommel but they still represented all that is vile about the human race. We are all fortunate that fascism was extinguished by the courage of all the allies.

First, you are correct, those minor wars wouldn't have weakened Germany. But it would weaken them mentally. Battles weaken morale. if you talked to soldiers you would know that. How dare you call me a Nazi sympathizer! if you had read all of my messages you'd see that was not true. I despise Adolf Hitler and his staff. But to say that they were "all that is vile about the human race" is incorrect. the leaders were evil but most of the Germans were regular people defnding their country.

I never said you were a nazi sympathizer! I simply remarked on the fact that the nazis were depraved, not the German people who democratically elected them by the way. I am a former US Marine and as such I am more aware than most as to the effects of war on morale. I have seen friends, enemies, and civilians killed in the most brutal and horrendous ways possibly imagined. War is hell and those who start wars, even if they be Americans are the vilest people and that is a truth learned in battle.

What has happened at the village of Racak is still unresolved, I am surprised how come (as you are promoting yourself well informed) you haven't mentioned Helena Ranta's latest book and all the claims she laid in it. I don't hate any nation in the world. I judge each human being by what one is not by what one's skin color, nationality, religious, political, sexual views are.
Stop and think twice about everything you said. You are pressing every other person that opposed his/her's opinion against yours to realize their nations were/are faulty. Agreed. Every nation did good and bad things throughout its history. But in all those preaching, I haven't seen even once you did that yourself?!

Come now oh forgetful Europeans! The Russians and Americans had by far the largest forces in the European theatre. Sure British and Free French contributed greatly but the Germans were not defeated by them. All of the allies contributed to the defeat of fascism but lets not forget the role of America in all this. We allowed deGaulle to move into Paris first even though he didn't actually earn that right. selective amnesia

The Americans didn't volunteer for Britain, didn't lend-lease billions in equipment to Stalin and Churchill, didn't tip the balance of power, didn't help restore the British empire in Asia, didn't airdrop weapons to resistance fighters all over Europe, didn't help at all, in fact America just stayed at home and let the Germans take over all of Europe and let the Japanese have all of East Asia. Or wait, that actually isn't what happened at all-duh!

America was the reason the war was won. Other countries played a large role in the war, but America joining was the turning point that lost the war for the Japanese and the Germans. All the allied countries played their part in the war, and were needed to wipe out the thin-spread, but powerful German army.

To quote Stalin, 'The Americans gave money. The British gave time. The Russians gave blood.' The war would not have been won without all three. Britain's economy wasn't up to the task. America would have had a bitch of a time launching an invasion without the British Isles as a staging ground, and everything else the British contributed (intel, etc.) And without the Red Army, it's unlikely that the Western Allies could have mounted a successful reconquest of Europe.

if britain and america never invaded then hitler would have been able to launch their entire army at russia and the enitire german army would have been a lot tougher for russia to cope with even with superior numbers.
