Please explain why he internationaly is critisised by top clasical musicians for his lack of skill. There are so many more better then him out there.
Someone said that pavarotti sucks.
EMI, the music company, (I wish that was it.. i don't remember very well) said that The Beatles would have never been famous and that their music sucks.
Some people 2 months ago in Rome said that Andrea Bocelli sucks and his voice ruined classical music...
but their music still sound and a lot of people love it.
If andre rieu is internationally criticized.. I don't care. WE don't care!

It is ok to like him, but listen to other then populist cross over stuff to see what quality really is.
As for the Beatles et al that is oppinion, where you need to be considering critisim as being true is when it is as consistant by people who know what there talking about, i.e. top classicly trained musicians who are internationaly regarded as the best and experts in the field say he is bad.
A lot of people loved Hitler and that Italian idiot, that dosn't mean there right.
Just because he makes a recording company a profit dosn't make him talented, just because he is like dosn't mean anything for gods sake a lot of people liked Hitler and his stupid Italian equalivant, not that I am compareing Reau to them, just think before you talk!
If you and him dont care, that is ok, the other side to that being why should I care. Do think and post a reall argument before you talk!
sorry if I offend you. but I and also my dad love so much andre rieu, cause I'm a musician and I love his way to play music, expecially classical music. maybe I will go to see his concert in Innsbruck in february (I'm an italian guy).
But after all... me and also you can say a thing... he's very good at playing violin! ;)

All I ask of you is to consider that there is a possibility that there is a better alternative then him. If you like him then that is great. I.e the Sydney Sympanthy Orestra is really ONE of the best in the world listen to them and others so is / was Sir George Solti and others. Listen to reall quality then know that rieu isn't
