No First all all, India's official ideology is secularism. Secularism wasnt invented in India. It was forced on the sub continent by British. Secondly, many Indian's now choose secularism as a superior ideology, which in no way means they believe the British are superior. Well Islam may have been put on Pakistan by the sword. However again many Pakistani's believe in Islam on there own and dont care about Arabs. Finally even Hinduism, was spread by the sword. The Elite castes enslaved the lower.

Also, Many in Pakistan, are indeed the elite of the Hindu Crop. As the Gita says, the Janjua are the sons of Arjuna. The Janjua Rajputs, are Western Punjabi's and the Sons of Arjuna. The elite of the elite of Hinduism and Muslims now. Also Many in Pakistan were Budhists as well who converted. Finally, Pakistani's may have changed there religion, however our culture has remained intact. Punjabi and Pashtu and Urdu are still spoken not Arabic. We willfully choose not to be Hindu, or secular.

Finally the census on caste in British India before partition, even proves the vast majority of Low and mid caste Hindu's were in India proper. The part of India known as Pakistan, before partition, had the lowest percent of lower castes among it. Amongst the Hindu populations. The reason why Pakistan is Muslim is simply georgraphy. It faced the brunt of the Islamic invasions, and was exposed to Islam the most. Finally during Muslim rule, many Hindu's were Muslims only keeping there Hindu names.
