Nobody better than Speilberg presenting. I feel bad for him. SO many of his movie have been nominated for Best Picture and lost. Only Schindler's List one. Long live Speilberg!

Yes!!! for once the Academy gave an Oscar to a well deserved action movie. In the past the turned down so many good action movies that deserved to win like Star Wars. Hopefully this year The Dark Knight will win that would go down in history.

Any film up against The Return of the King would have been overlooked. There were so many good films but the build up of all three films was going to guarantee that Return of the King would win. Not just for that film but honouring the trilogy as a whole.

I gotta say, barring the winner, the nominees that year were kinda sucky. And btw, the Dark Knight winning seems a little unlikely. It would be nice, though. I see Changeling and Frost/Nixon in the front of the race, but I don't care for either film.
