I think some of the lyrics in this openly support the Bible. Others may not. They'r3e too deep for me to decypher. LOVE this song!!! This is actually my song I "dedicate" to my daughter, since it came out the year I had her and I LOVE Live of course, this song is just beautiful!! You dont need God or other people to tell you what to believe and feel, to Ed family/life is his "heaven"!!

Hmmm, if you really study evolution, you'll find that it actually accounts for only so much of how we came to be. besides, who's to say that that evolution and the big bang weren't caused by God? just because we think we know the mechanics of something, doesn't make it any less of a miracle. :)

who's saying anything about god not existing? The point is, if you refer to Live and their lyric througout their career, what is god? Is it the caricature that is imagined in the storybooks, or is it something that cannot be organised, ritualised or even described? The bible is a storybook, and not a very old one at that, and the god it talks about is an invention brought about by fear. I suggest reading "Freedom From the Known", by Jiddu Krishnamurti for a good start on exploring this topic.

It is amazing what we don't manage to turn into a theological debate. And understand I refer to the religous and non-religious alike here. I am a Christian, so I am sure I would not agree with all of Ed's views on God, but I don't need to in order to enjoy Live's music. Great song, great band. But if it's all the same I don't need anybody reccomending me any "worldview" classes or new-age books.
