I think you are mistaken. Extreme Capitalism is the same as extreme Communism-- Both become totalitarian. The issue is centralized power VS decentralized power-- Not ideology. Moderation is the key. Like the USSR, the USA now wiretaps it's citizens, tortures civilians, and no longer guarantees a right to a trial. Capitalism doesn't define choice or liberty. When people are scared of their government, that's dictatorship. When government is scared of the people, that's liberty--Thomas Jefferson.

I don't know what my comment was and im not going to look it up but- where the US is at today isn't extreme capitalism it is anything BUT extreme capitalism- when i speak of capitalism i mean markets that are run by the demands of the consumer and not interference of government - that is as decentralized as you can get- when the markets are free government loses most of its power- it is through the market system and the welfare state that the US government controls and oppresses its people

if u understand english hes right. here in vancouver,canada we have real problems in prostitution, hard drugs, in certian areas, freedom of state would allow the local government to better address the problems without inference from federal government, or more like the united states federal government as canadian federal government is highly influenced by the amercian federal administration. vancouver also has high marijuana use, where as holland where its legal has lower use than lots of usa.
