I heard the first time Toby climbed up those stage lighting poles, Pastor Graha's people didn't know exactly what to do, but then it became a mainstay whenever they performed at BG Crusades.... I saw them do Jesus Freak live before the Jesus Freak album came out and the energy was amazing! I miss that! they put on a great concert!

I was there in Charlotte NC when the BG crusade was there. I saw DC Talk like 3 times that year. I can personally tell you, that these guys kept you on your feet. So much energy LIVE. You get an amazing blessing out of it. Being a teenager of Christ at that time, I absolutely soaked it up!

I was at the San Antonio show that year. That was my first Christian concert. Needless to say, I've been a Jesus Freak ever since :)

I went with my parents to Cleveland Municipal Stadium (now Progressive Field). It was about 15 years ago and I was 2, but it sticks in my brain so well. It was the 1st time I saw them, and needless to say, they rocked the masses! Kudos to dc Talk for being a great witness and a great band!
Statistics show the ... ( 1 month ago by TeslaSagan)
Statistics show the more educated an individual, the less likely they are to be religious or believe in a god. 72% of the National Academy of Sciences members have a 'personal disbelief in god' and another 20% claim 'doubt or agnosticism'. 850,000,000 people around the world are Atheist, Agnostic or Non-Religious. That's more than 1 out of 10 people, making up the 4th largest belief group. Less than 1% of the US prison population is 'atheist'. Does make you wonder.

You are a prime example of how people should behave on Youtube, not once did you call my religion stupid or make fun of us as chrisitans...I aprecciate it!
If belief in heaven ... ( 3 weeks ago by TeslaSagan)
If belief in heaven was private, like the toothfairy, I'd say fine. But toothfairy supporters don't come around 2 your house and try to convert you. They don't try to teach your children stultifying pseudo-science in school. They don't try to prevent access 2 contraception. The religious won't leave us alone. These are not just private delusions, they're ones they want 2 inflict on other people.
Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful

But doesn't the opposite hapen in a poublic school? I go to a public school and it seems that evolution is put in my face in almost any calss, and we can't have religion classes because none of the teachers believe in it. And contracetion is a personal choice, Many believe that we, as people, should be fruitful and multiply. But if you don't want to have a child, thats your own choice.

Hmm well judging by the spelling its money down the drain.
I do not acknowledge any ones right to believe or that I should respect their right to believe. I refuse to tolerate religious bullshit, it is that simple and i shall never change my intolerance for this crap.
Todays religion will be the futures mythology. Both believed at one time by many; but proved wrong by the clever.

That is where I disaggree, and I'm sorry about the spelling, I need to practice my typing skills
What I don't like ... ( 2 weeks ago by TeslaSagan)
What I don't like about bible thumpers, or any cult for that matter, is the arrogance exhibited with impunity by them as they perform their socially accepted public displays of schizophrenic indulgence with the goal of influencing weak-minded individuals, mostly young impressionable children, to join in activities that brainwash them into thinking a certain way so as to restrict their ability to freely reason to police their own thoughts and become willing slaves.
Wake up and open your eyes!!!

Well the thing is, we have. Sure, activities do provide an outreach to the community. We offer something much more then a Religion, we offer a relationship. I strongly disaggree with the idea of Christianity being a cult, but that is your belief. So if what you're saying about Christianity is correct, then the same must go for the Theory of evolution and such. You talk as if churches try to cloud judgement, but maybe you are doing the same.
