On May 3, 2008 and May 4, 2008, thousands of shelters around the world from Bolivia to South Africa joined North Shore Animal League America in our largest cooperative pet adoption event -- Pet Adoptathon 2008. During this amazing weekend, over 2,000 shelters joined the Animal League in staying open for 36 straight hours saving as many lives and finding loving homes for as many pets as possible.
