| So if Eddie is the only reason for Van Halen's success......why did Roth-era albums sell 40 million copies in U.S. and Van Hagar-era albums only sell 18 million - even though Van Hagar had the huge benefit of MTV and Top 40 radio to help sell their records?? Just proves how important Diamond Dave was to Van Halen -- he was the image of fun and party in that band, NOT Eddie. Keep in mind that VH's only 10-million+ albums have been with Dave....NOT Spammy! It's pretty clear that Dave wins, douche. |

| Diamond Dave was know for skipping around on stage in tights! Record sales mean nothing. If you want to get into it though, Roths solo carrer was not that great, and ya VH sold 40 million records with Roth, but Sammy Hagar has sold over 70 million records in his life. So if you want to talk record sales, Sammy obviously wins. By the way, Roth could barely hit any of the notes that Sammy hit. Sammy wins!!!!!!!!! |
